To Whom It May Concern:
We, the body of Christ at Greater Victory Baptist Church, are seeking your help.
Our building for over the past six years has been slowly deteriorating. Our congregation of the most dedicated and faithful members have been working diligently in repairing our church building. Due to this economic crisis, the road has been tough, but we will still keep faith and continue to do God’s will.
We have been in existence for the past 38 years. However, our church building, which was originally a Lutheran church, was built in 1895. As one can imagine, a church building that has been in existence for over 114 years is in desperate need of renovations and repairs. At Greater Victory Baptist Church, many souls are being saved. We’ve watched little babies being christened and baptized, and now are married with children. We’ve watched children and adults sing in the choir and/or usher. We’ve watched many grow spiritually in the Word and now are preachers, deacons and/or teachers of the Gospel through the Holy Spirit. So many lives have changed at Greater Victory Baptist Church. This is our home and we want to continue to be a blessing throughout Melrose section of the Bronx, NY and beyond.
Therefore, we are making this plea. In Matthew 7:7 it states, “Ask, and it shall be given unto you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”
Please be apart of our mission as we ASK 1 million people to donate at least $1.00 towards our ministry!

Our Goal is to raise $1million. This will help us Rebuild our church and parking lot, pay off debts, and continue to help the less fortunate in the Bronx, NY through our Non-Profit Organization First Contact Inc. But most importantly, it Will help us continue to spread the Gospel throughout the World!
